Reviews & Testimonials

Dear Mrs. Davis,

It was such a pleasure staying in your home!  It gave us a look at living in Juneau that we could never have experienced otherwise.  You have decorated  in such a cozy style that I wish we could have stayed longer!  My compliments on your breakfast, too.  The "Eagle Nest Egg"  certainly was appropriate for the number of eagles we saw while in Juneau.  I wouldn't mind that recipe if you ever have time.

We just want to say Thank You one more time for your truly generous hospitality.  If we ever get to Alaska again, we will certainly want to stay with you.  Your place is "5 Stars" in our book!

Sincerely,

Hi Mrs. Davis,

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how delighted we were while visiting your B&B.
It truly is one of the town's hidden treasures.  We certainly enjoyed Juneau at its best.  You have a warm and friendly home that made us feel welcome.  Thank you for allowing us a once in a lifetime experience of feeding Alaska's eagles.

Your hospitality and food exceeded our expectations.  We will definitely recommend Duck Creek to our friends and look forward to another pleasant experience.

Sincerely,

Duck Creek Bed & Breakfast.........sleep under beautiful bedding, surrounded by antiques in a cozy room, wake up to the wonderful scents of a country breakfast, enjoy a den with secluded views of lush green forest and maybe you will see a bear or two. Duck Creek Bed & Breakfast is an Alaskan delight.

From the moment I arrived at the Duck Creek Bed & Breakfast life was good.  I was welcomed by the pristine mountain views in the front yard to the warm greetings and open arms of Jay & Sue Davis.  It is a wonderful quite escape from the normal tourist infested lodges.  Jay & Sue have a wealth of knowledge (along with books & artifacts) on Alaskan culture and attractions, which they can't wait to share with their guests.  Jay & Sue went out of their way to show me the road less traveled by telling me where, when & what to go to avoid the crowds and make the trip more memorable & intimate.    I was treated to wonderful & delicious Alaskan cuisine all while relaxing by overlooking the calm wilderness in the back yard.  It was WONDERFUL!!!  If I could go back every year I would.
P.S.  Remember to pack your raincoat & boots.

Hi Sue:

Combine the Scenery of Juneau, the coziness of the B&B, the 5-Star cuisine and you have the perfect recipe for a true Alaskan get-a-way.  Duck Creek B&B is a hidden gem nestled in the Tongass National Forest.
